Give Kids the World - Custom Memorial Portrait statue of Henri Landwirth and Little Girl ’
The Commission:
Tom was honored to create a lifesize bronze scene of a young child with Henri Landwirth. He is the founder of Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida. The memorial portrait bronze sculpture serves to represent the unique and compassionate service Mr. Landwirth and this wonderful organization have demonstrated. Because thousands of children with life-threatening illnesses and their families have been hosted there.
Henri’s Story:
Henri had a successful, innovative hotel industry career that spanned more than 50 years. Before and after retirement, Henri devoted himself to improving the lives of those in need. Through numerous foundations and non-profit organizations he founded in addition to Give Kids The World Village. Because the need is great, read for yourself their Mission of Hope and consider joining them in these worthy efforts.
Below are photos of Henri posing with a little girl. Tom used those photos to create the sculpture. Afterwards, Tom’s blueprint tabletop bronze was cast and presented to Henri on his birthday. Then the life-size memorial statue was placed in the newest villa at the GKTW Village.
